JONAS Chiropractic has elected this technique as a means of isolating as many muscles and nerves as possible for accurate identification of problem areas, so stop in for your treatment today.
Selective Functional Movement Assessment
Last March, Drs. Steven & Holly completed a course in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), which is a series of seven full-body movement tests designed to assess fundamental patterns of movement. This method of isolating the problem is known as Regional Interdependence and is the hallmark of SFMA.

Cox, as a marriage of chiropractic principles and the basic tenets of osteopathy, the method makes use of flexion-distraction and decompression to adjust and manipulate the spine to essentially realign it by restoring vertebral joints to their proper physiological relationships of motion. The procedure is gentle, non-surgical and uses no force to help the spine heal properly and keep it as pain free as possible.
